Founded in 1976, the Business Council of Canada is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization representing business leaders in every region and sector of the country. The Council’s member companies employ 1.7 million Canadians, contribute the largest share of federal corporate taxes, and are responsible for most of Canada’s exports, corporate philanthropy, and private-sector investments in research and development. At the Canada China Business Council (CCBC), membership means business. We are a truly bilateral non-profit organization with seven offices in both Canada and China. Founded in 1978, we have been the leading voice of Canadian businesses in China for 40 years and provide the knowledge and connections you need to succeed in China and Canada. In addition to its focused and practical services, CCBC is the voice of the Canadian business community on issues affecting Canada-China business, trade, and investment.
HKCBA's mission is to expand commercial relationships between Canada and Hong Kong as well as throughout Asia, using Hong Kong as the platform for advancing this objective. We also promote a strong business and community network within our membership across Canada through our programs. HKCBA is one of the largest bilateral trade associations in Canada, with over 1,000 members in eight major cities from coast to coast.
